At the front line of climatic change, the Arctic acts as a barometer of global warming. Climatologists, glaciologists, astrophysicists and oceanographers—along with animated illustrations—explain how climate experts predict a dramatic increase in the planet's temperatures over the next century. [A coproduction of Glacialis productions, the National Film Board of Canada and Gedeon programmes]

Paul O'Gorman, of Caltech's Environmental Science and Engineering Department, will introduce the film and lead a post-screening discussion.

This event is made possible through Caltech's participation in the CineMuse Network.

A limited number of complimentary tickets are available for certain school districts through the generosity of the Connie Wei-Luen Kao Memorial Scholarship; please call (626) 395-6059 for information.
