This will be a special acoustic performance of one of England's greatest treasures, the legendary band that way back in 1967 began experimenting with adding elements of rock and roll (including drums and amplified guitar, fiddle, and bass) to British traditional music. In the intervening years, Fairport Convention has continued to evolve and effectively blend traditional and contemporary styles in a unique way. The group still brings together a diverse mix of traditional ballads and dance tunes, along with new contemporary and original songs.
