Oceans support an enormous range of life, from the largest whales to the smallest plankton, from hordes of seabirds to lonely deep-sea fish, all governed by a complex system of biological and physical forces. This film demonstrates the sheer scale, power and complexity of our blue planet. [A BBC/Discovery Channel Co-Production]

Alex Gagnon of Caltech's Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.

This event is made possible through Caltech's participation in the CineMuse Network.
