Join the Caltech Jazz Bands for an entire evening of music written for the Stan Kenton Orchestra: Opus in Pastels, Intermission Riff, Jump for Joe, Send in the Clowns, Stompin' at the Savoy, the list goes on and on. In addition to the wonderful music, lecturer Steven Harris will be talking about the music and giving us some insight into that very famous ensemble. And the band will be having a "coming out party" for their third CD, The Variety Pack. It's sure to be another wonderful evening of jazz!
A free reception for all will follow the concert.
