The Great Southern California ShakeOut coming this November will be a week of special events featuring the largest earthquake drill in U.S. history, on November 13 at 10:00 a.m., organized to inspire Southern Californians to get ready for big earthquakes, and to prevent disasters from becoming catastrophes.

Join us in Beckman on June 4th for the official KickOff and special media briefing, designed to announce the fall event, give us a scientific overview of what we can expect from a major earthquake in the Los Angeles area, and highlight the support from state agencies and local first responders throughout the region.
