Bring a picnic or purchase dinner from Ernie's Al Fresco and enjoy an evening of lively music and fun for the whole family. Dance instruction will be provided during intermission by Joey Dowdy, former choreographer of The Backstreet Boys.
Salsa the night away to the jazzy Afro-Cuban beat of percussionist Bobby Matos and his band. Earthy, yet sophisticated, this music will get you out of your seat and onto the dance floor.
Percussionist/arranger Bobby Matos is a Latin jazz veteran whose career began in the 1960s. He adapts great tunes to achieve the perfect blend of the music's jazzy, improvisational element and its rhythmic identity.
Bobby and his band have been playing jazz festivals and clubs for many years, sharing the bill with such renowned artists as Earl Klugh, Jerry Gonzalez, McCot Tyner, Kevin Eubanks, Pete Escovedo, Poncho Sanchez, Cassandra Wilson, and Kevin Mahogany.
