Lounge and Gardens.
Please note that Caltech does not rent its facilities. All non-Caltech
uses must be sponsored by a division or department of Caltech. Please

community service. A broad spectrum of performing arts, lectures, films,
classes and entertainment events are offered throughout the academic year.

Dabney Lounge is an all-Institute facility, available for a variety of
Caltech functions, including Institute classes and events, performances,
social events, and private parties. Caltech Campus Programs and Community Relations coordinates
the scheduling of Dabney Lounge and Gardens.

Beckman Mall (also known as the Court of Man) is the grassy area bounded
by Beckman Auditorium to the north, Baxter Hall of the Humanities to the
east, and Beckman Behavioral Biology Lab to the west. This is where Caltechs
Commencement ceremony and other convocations such as Inauguration are
staged.
