Join us during Earth Week for a 90-minute community conversation on the scientific benefits, ethical issues, and potential unintended consequences of changing our biosphere.
This panel discussion accompanies the TACIT presentation of Amy Berryman's play The New Galileos. The play, directed by Brian Brophy, Director of Caltech Theater, dramatizes issues around geoengineering and climate science. It will be presented the evenings of April 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.
Panelists include:
- Paul Wennberg, R. Stanton Avery Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry and Environmental Science and Engineering; Director, Ronald and Maxine Linde Center for Global Environmental Science
- Jess Adkins, Smits Family Professor of Geochemistry and Global Environmental Science
- Lenka Novak, Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate in Environmental Science and Engineering
- Amy Berryman, playwright
The panel will be moderated by Arden Thomas, Associate Artistic Director of MACH 33: The Caltech / Pasadena Playhouse Festival of New Science-Driven Plays.
