FREE MOVIE SCREENING! Caltech's "Movies That Matter" in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, are presenting the premiere screening of Techne: Evidence in the Anthropocene, on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 7;00 pm in Beckman Auditiorium.
Following the 48-minute screening there will be a panel discussion about revising the Golden Record. The panel will include renowned scientist Jonathan H. Jiang, Ann Druyan - the creative director of the Golden Record, who collaborated with Carl Sagan - and Director of Techne Daniel R. Small. It will be moderated by science and technology journalist Daniel Oberhaus. The film was produced with support from the Arts + Technology Lab at LACMA.
