How old is the Earth? How long have humans lived on it? How long have other life forms lived on it? This program will include a discussion of past climate change, and what is different between past episodes of climate and biological upheaval and today's anthropogenic climate crisis.

Cecelia Sanders presents an understanding what kinds of life dominated our planet's history, and how the living and non-living parts of the planet shaped each other.

Cecilia Sanders is a Caltech PhD candidate in Geobiology.

Tickets are FREE through the generosity of our donors. Reservations are needed. Please call (626) 395-6059 or email Mary Herrera.
