The Caltech Chamber Singers and Chamber Music will give a joint concert featuring music for small vocal and instrumental ensembles.
Featured music will be Madrigals of the Italian and English Renaissance by Josquin, Di Lasso, Weelkes, Morley and Bennett, as well as Scottish Songs for voices, violin, cello and piano, Op. 108 by Beethoven. Also on the program will be Glinka, Trio Pathetique in d minor, for bassoon, clarinet and piano; Brahms, Two Songs for alto voice, viola and piano, Op. 91; and vocal quartets by Haydn, Schubert and Brahms.
