The "new" Pražák Quartet is the evolution of the Pražák Quartet, which has performed throughout the world for nearly 50 years.

Jana Vonášková joined the Pražák Quartet as first violinist in 2015, bringing a new generation into the group. Upon the retirement of Vlastimil Holek and Michal Kanka in 2021, the pillar of the quartet, violist and founding member Josef Kluson, and Jana Vonášková decided to continue.

New members second violinist Marie Fuxová and cellist Jonáš Krejcí bring their extensive experience and energy into the group while remaining faithful to the Czech quartet tradition, the hallmark of the original Pražák Quartet.
