Join us in welcoming Dr. Lisa Graumlich to Caltech in this virtual space celebrating LGBTQIA+ identity in STEM disciplines. Dr. Graumlich is an American paleoclimatologist who studies the interactions between the climate, ecosystems, and humans. She is a professor in the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences and Dean Emeritus of the College of the Environment at the University of Washington. Dr. Graumlich is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Ecological Society of America and is President-Elect of the American Geophysical Union. She is passionate about science communication, and she frequently speaks on climate change impacts and adaptation.
